Year 11 Revision Retreat

On the final weekend of the spring term, I had the privilege of accompanying 54 Year 11 pupils on a Revision Retreat to Boreatton Park.
Over the course of the weekend, pupils combined revision for exams with activities such as high ropes, archery tag and axe throwing. During the evening pupils engaged in competitive games and a silent disco (which was anything but silent as our pupils warbled along to the music at the top of their voices!).
In our scheduled revision times, pupils were very productive and supported each other to revise for those all-important exams coming up in the next few weeks.
Our pupils’ behaviour was exemplary and PGL staff continually complimented them on their politeness. What struck me as I left school on Sunday evening is what lovely people our Year 11 pupils have become. I have no doubt that their academic success will open doors, but it is their character and kindness that will keep them open. I wish them all the best of luck in the weeks ahead.
Mrs Edwards.
