STEM Activity Day
On Thursday 13th February 30 Year 9 pupils attended an extremely informative and interactive STEM Day held in the school hall. (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics).
Working in groups of three, they undertook a series of challenges including producing an eFIT image of a laptop thief (any likeness to Mr Peach was purely coincidental!), robotics, medical diagnostics and anatomy. The day was augmented by two medical students who gave pupils an insight into their path into their chosen careers. It was a really fun day.
Thank you to Mr Haughan for organising the event.
