De Montfort University Trip
On Friday 8th April a group of year 10 pupils went to De Montfort University to experience university life.
They enjoyed designing a society, touring the campus and checking out the halls of residence before visiting the Biomedical Science Lab to learn more about the courses on offer. Our pupils were given a task to diagnose two patients presenting with different ailments by testing their urine. DMU lecturer Tom Brown was so impressed with our pupil’s knowledge and behaviour he has already invited them back!
As always, it was a huge privilege to show off our wonderful pupils. We hope that the experience has motivated them to pursue higher education in the future.
